The Space:
The Mini Mountain Hut 2 by Tiny Away is just 25 minutes from New Plymouth and near the locality of Mangorei. It offers a secluded, tiny house experience with direct access to the Pouākai Crossing. Surrounded by private gardens and nestled under the mountain’s watchful eye, this retreat blends comfort with nature's call. Explore nearby treasures like Egmont National Park, Lake Mangamahoe, and the Coastal Walkway, including the iconic Te Rewa Rewa Bridge.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "The Mini Mountain Hut 1," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and surrounding areas. The main barn house is restricted unless permission is requested from the host.

- Guests should not venture off the trails into the forest, as they may become lost. However, the host can provide a tour of the area upon request.
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
